Material solutions for energy efficient heating and boiler systems
Recent surges in energy prices and the implementation of new, stricter material safety regulations have increased the demand for more energy efficient heaters, boilers and heat pumps. Manufacturers of plumbing equipment such as water heaters and boilers are replacing brass and copper materials with numerous thermal plastics. In addition to meeting drinking water contact regulations replacement thermoplastics need to offer high design flexibility, help improve end-product sustainability and prevent leaks that may lead to costly water damage. During this webinar you will learn more about the trends in boiling and heating systems in relation to material selection. Our expert will l also highlight:
- the challenges for incumbent material solutions
- materials solutions for hot and warm water certified
- materials material solutions for parts with non-drinking water certification requirements (f.e. heat pumps).
